Because spas operate in a wet environment and draw significant power, electrical work must always follow national and local wiring codes and be completed by a licensed electrician.

Core Electrical Requirements
Dedicated Electrical Circuit
Every Bullfrog Spa must be connected to a dedicated electrical circuit. This circuit may not power any other outlets, lights, or appliances. Sharing a circuit can cause performance issues and create safety risks.
Most Bullfrog Spas are designed for permanent installation and are not plug‑and‑play models.
Voltage and Power Requirements
Most Bullfrog Spas require:
- 240‑volt service (220–240V range)
- Single‑phase power
- 50‑amp or 60‑amp capacity, depending on the model
- Four conductors: Line 1, Line 2, Neutral, and Ground
