This article explains how the system works, what to expect, and how to care for it. ### Overview AOP stands for **Advanced Oxidation Process**, a water treatment method that destroys contaminants using highly reactive oxygen-based molecules. Unlike traditional sanitation methods that rely entirely or heavily on chlorine- or bromine-based sanitizers, the AOP system: - Reduces chemical dependence - Improves water clarity - Creates softer-feeling water - Helps water last longer between changes Bullfrog Spas integrates the Clear Comfort CCW25 system to deliver a low-maintenance, premium water care experience. ### How the AOP System Works The system creates **hydroxyl radicals**, one of the most powerful natural oxidizers. Process overview: 1. Air (oxygen) is pulled into the system 2. UV light and moisture convert oxygen into reactive forms 3. Hydroxyl radicals are created 4. These radicals in a gas form are injected directly into spa water 5.
